Our Construction History

Purcell Construction Corp. is a general construction and design/build contractor with specific expertise in commercial construction and military design/build projects.   Our corporate office has been in the City of Watertown, New York since the company was founded by Robert Purcell in 1973.  For the past twenty years, the company has been operated by Robert’s son, Mark Purcell who instills in this company the family tradition of integrity, trust and customer service.

Purcell Construction has the expertise to provide our clients with construction and design/build services on a wide array of projects ranging in size and complexity.  Over the years, we have successfully completed thousands of projects in many market sectors including education and dormitory, industrial, commercial, historic rehabilitation, military, and retirement community projects.

Purcell Construction’s leadership recognizes the value of quality employees and the importance of long-term relationships.  We have repeat customers because of the quality of service offered by our skilled project management staff and field trades.  Customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction are both of utmost importance to us.  Our success can also be attributed to the subcontractors who are part of our construction team.  Although we currently have a strong subcontractor base, we continually seek to build relationships with new subcontractors who value integrity, trust and customer service.
