Dewey Renovations

Purcell Construction acted as the construction manager for the Collaborative Learning Center and Renovation of the Dewey Building at SUNY Jefferson. The Dewey Building, a 35,000 sf, three-story, building, was originally the library, liberal arts offices, and IT department. The ground floor of the building remains the IT department space, floors one and two were converted into a nursing education lab, a paramedic lab, five classrooms, faculty office suites and two student lounges.

Since this was the first venture for the College into Housing, Purcell Construction worked with the College, sharing their experience and expertise to provide us with an excellent product on time and within budget.
