Samaritan Medical Center Labor, Delivery, and Recovery

The LDR Project consisted of a complete, new Labor & Delivery suite, as well as two new Cesarean Birth ORs.  The L&D suite included eight new Labor & Delivery rooms, each with private family space, a new Reception & Lounge, Nurse Station and multiple areas for both staff support and patient comfort.  The Cesarean Birth suite consisted of two new, state-of-the-art Cesarean Birth ORs with full support space and a large Recovery area.  New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were installed throughout, including special systems for both patient monitoring and infant security.  The LDR project included substantial upgrades to the 6th and 7th floor Mechanical equipment, including new roof-top equipment that serves a large portion of the facility.
